This gorgeous antique vest is truly rare! Hungarian ethnic craft with a more feminine, less traditional twist. Embroidered beautifully with silk threads on black velvet. Lovely purples and turquoise are sewn into flower patterns. Intricate sequins and beading elevate this to a more elegant level. With vests being such a hot trend lately, this would be really flattering for anyone in the colder months ahead. 20" across when laying flat.
The vest is lined and the hand stitching can be seen from inside. Although we're not sure of it's actual age, it was bought in Budapest in the 1990's, but was considered 'antique' when bought. Never worn since.
